The small vial that I received of this perfume was awesome. It smells very good and lasts long. Something that I really appreciate about this perfume is - The vial did not have a cap and the nozzle was exposed to air all the time. In spite of this packaging the perfume holds good inside that small vial and did not evaporate in few days. That's a nice perfume to store and use.
I have used nothing but classic Burberry for the last decade; no other perfume has been able to catch my nose. This one in my gold Fab Bag, however, got to me. As I usually do with sample perfumes, I sniff at the nozzle, spray it on a tissue if I like it, let it settle and then see if I still like it...usually by the end of five minutes I end up reaching for my Burberry. Evoke, however, turned my head. Remember Anton Ego and his "Maa ke haath ka khana waala feeling"? It was a bit like that. Cosy, homey, woody, warm...I like it. I'm buying the full bottle.
I got a vial of this abso-freakin-lutely amazing perfume in my first ever Fab Bag (yay!) and I totally LOVED it for all of 3 seconds that I held it because my oh-so-fashionable-mother loved it too much to give it back to me once I gave her a whiff of this divine perfume. On a serious note, I'm picky about perfumes. I have a jar full of vials of perfumes that I got as samples that I didn't like therefore, never used. However, this one is different. It smells great and is perfect for a night out. I can't describe the fragrance so that you (as a reader) can understand EXACTLY how good this perfume is but none-the-less, I'm going to try. This perfume is: A) Spicy B) It's NOT fruity or Floral C) Suggested for a night out with your BF or BFFs! D) If you don't like Jasmine, that's okay, it's not a strong note. E) If you like spicy fragrances like Black Excess or True Red by Marks & Spencer's then you will LOVE this perfume!
